Void Tech Studios is committed to digital privacy. The data we collect depends entirely on the specific application or service you are using. For our web services and Discord bots, we may collect basic technical data (such as Discord User, Discord name, and email on buymeacoffee) required for functionality. Our apps generally do not collect, store, or transmit personal telemetry/data.
02. Desktop Applications & Local Tools
2.1 Local Execution: All software Void Tech offers such as RustForge, Rust Optimizer, TotK Mod Manager, SoD Tools, Rust Binder, etc. operate primarily on your local machine. We do not harvest, upload, or sell your local files, game saves, or hardware profiles.
2.2 Automated Extractions: Certain tools (e.g., Ripify) download or extract from memory third-party components (like FFmpeg) directly to your machine to function. These requests are made directly from your machine to the respective package repositories.
2.3 Steamworks Integration: Applications distributed via Steam (such as RustForge) may utilize the Steamworks API, which processes your Steam ID for license verification and session management in accordance with Valve's privacy policy.
03. Discord Bots & Database Storage
3.1 Stored Metadata: Bots like Clan Hub Bot and ByteKnight CLI require database access (MongoDB) to function. We store necessary operational data, including Discord Server IDs, User IDs, configured roles, and scheduled event logs.
3.2 Message Content: We do not log, view, have access to, or store the content of your private messages or server chats/logs.
04. AI Models & Processing
When interacting with Void Tech AI systems (such as ByteKnight AI [Model B-1B]), your prompts, inputs, and contextual interactions are processed to generate a response. We do not use your personal interactions to train our core foundation models without explicit permission. Processing is strictly used for immediate inference, emotional context evaluation, and temporary session memory.
05. Third-Party Data Sharing
5.1 No Selling of Data: Void Tech Studios does not, and will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, Discord data, or usage metrics to advertisers or third-party data brokers.
5.2 Required APIs: Our tools interact with necessary third-party APIs (e.g., Discord API, Spotify/YouTube for Ripify parsing, Steamworks). Data exchanged with these platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies.
06. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services. If you remove a Void Tech Discord bot from your server, you may request a complete purge of your server's configuration and user data from our databases by contacting us. Routine database pruning may also automatically clear inactive records.
07. Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the data stored in our backend infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security against unauthorized breaches.
08. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such data from our servers.
